Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer
The loss of our dear friend and colleague, Mary Sloan, in 1993 was the inspiration for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. It is through the celebration of her life, and the lives and legacies of all who have braved the disease, that we remain steadfast in our commitment to create a community of hope around breast cancer.
Our gracious coworkers, business partners, customers and friends share our passion for finding a cure, and together we have raised more than $32.5 million to support critical breast cancer research.
Our team at the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, collaborates with researchers and leads clinical trials nationwide. They are focused on developing and dramatically improving therapies for some of the most difficult-to-treat types of breast cancer, including triple-negative breast cancer. Their progress on Monogrammed Medicine is leading to promising discoveries in the areas of diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
